David Zhang was born and raised in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,Northwest part of China.David is a passionate guide who is entertaining, informative and amusing. He has a wealth of knowledge about Beijing, its history, the history of China, and how this links to the rest of the world. David acquired his love of history listening to his grandfather's tales of his ancestors. David is a graduate from Beijing International Studies University and has been guiding with TCT since 2006. He aslo has previously worked as a technical interpreter and translator for business meetings, traning courses,guided tours at L3 Communications Corporation. David enjoys good food, and love sharing this beautiful country with guests and friends who come to visit. In addition to tours, David moonlights as web designer.
